Soffit & Fascia

When it comes to doing exterior renovations one of the number one products that people like to change are the aluminum soffit and fascia. When the soffit and fascia are changed we always change the eavestroughs too in order to match the new finish and colour. Chances are if your soffit and fascia are bad then the eavestroughs are up for replacement too. Just like eavestroughs, we have a wide variety of colours to choose from when it comes to soffit and fascia as well.

Soffit

Soffit is the exterior underside of a home’s eavestrough. If you ever looked at houses in detail you can notice that the roof hangs off, this overhang space between the end of the roof and the side of home is where the soffit goes.  Many old homes are built with totally sealed soffit which means that it has no holes inside the soffit, this restrict airflow. We provide air vented soffit for better air circulation to the attic and roof. This is our recommendation when changing your homes soffit.
 

Fascia

Fascia is a vertical board that “faces” out.  It is attached to the ends of the roof rafters at a right angle to the soffit following the roof line.  The fascia board creates a finished look to a home by covering the ends of the roof rafters, it is also the piece of aluminum that is right behind the eavestroughs.
